Vojin Batuta from the Grbaljska list was elected as the new president of the Kotor Municipal Assembly.
This was confirmed by "Vijesti" from the Grbaljska Lista.
He was elected today, at the first session of the new parliament of that municipality.
20 councilors voted for him - from the Democrats-PES coalition, Grbalj List, Democratic Alternative, Kotor Movement and the For the Future of Kotor coalition (New Serbian Democracy and Democratic People's Party).
The Kotor elections were held on September 29th last year, but due to complaints regarding two polling stations, they could not be completed until December of this year.
On December 3, the Constitutional Court rejected the appeal of the Kotor branch of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), filed last fall, which, as announced by the institution, created the conditions for the announcement of the final election results.
According to preliminary election results, DPS and the Democrats - Europe Now Movement (PES) coalition each won ten seats in the Kotor parliament, the "For the Future of Kotor" alliance, Grbaljska Lista and Democratic Alternative each won three, the European Alliance two, and the Croatian Civic Initiative and the Kotor Movement each won a seat.
