Security Advisor to Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović, Dejan Vukšić, has resigned from that position, the Montenegrin President's Office told Vijesti.
This is how they responded to Vijesti's questions about the criminal report and complaint filed yesterday against Vukšić by the Director General of the Directorate for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, Mirjana Pajković.
"Mr. Dejan Vukšić informed the President's Cabinet today that he is resigning from the position of Advisor to the President of Montenegro. Please direct any further questions regarding the reasons for the resignation directly to Dejan Vukšić," Milatović's Cabinet responded.
In her criminal complaint, Pajković accused him of threatening her, abusing the official landline phone of the President's office and urging her to "urgently contact the police":
"This behavior has elements of a criminal offense described in more detail in the report, but also an absolutely unacceptable mockery of the institution it represents and mockery of representatives of the Police Directorate."
