The Bosniak Party (BS) will seek an alternative to exercising power in Bijelo Polje if its coalition partner, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), does not agree with the platform it will offer them in the next five days.
This was stated by the president of the Municipal Board (OO) of BS Ernad Suljević for "Vijesti", emphasizing that the party's bodies will be in session in the coming days.
Suljević reiterated that BS is dissatisfied with the functioning of the coalition and that they are seeking faster development of the municipality of Bijelo Polje.
"There are no projects, or rather, they did not nominate them in 2025, they did not implement what we agreed upon at the beginning of the year when it comes to infrastructure projects in areas where Bosniaks are more represented, which all escalated into dissatisfaction at the end of the year. Because of all this, we concluded that if 2026 is going to be like 2025, then we have nothing to look forward to, because we participated in the elections just like them, and we want to fulfill our promises to the citizens," said Suljević.
