President of the Parliament of Montenegro and leader of the New Serbian Democracy Andrija Mandić congratulated the unconstitutional Republika Srpska Day.
He posted the greeting on his X account.
"I have just sent my warm and fraternal congratulations to the leadership of Republika Srpska on the occasion of January 9th - the day of the founding of Republika Srpska. I believe that this January 9th will also be proof of the commitment of the Serbian people to the values of freedom, justice and peace, which are the guarantors of stability in the Western Balkans. I truly believe that just as all the countries in our region have precisely defined their key foreign policy goals, a better and common future in the European Union lies ahead of us," Mandić wrote.
The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has declared unconstitutional the celebration of January 9 as RS Day on two occasions, given that on January 9, 1992, the then Assembly of the Serbian People in BiH in Sarajevo adopted the Declaration on the Proclamation of the Republic of the Serbian People in BiH.
This year's slogan for the celebration of January 9th is "Living Hearth".
