The session of the Municipal Assembly (MA) of Bijelo Polje is scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, as agreed upon by the collegium of the President of the Assembly, Selma Omerović.
The session at which the budget was supposed to be adopted at the end of last year was interrupted due to the non-attendance of the Bosniak Party (BS), which expressed dissatisfaction with the cooperation with the coalition partner - the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
BS announced at the beginning of the year that it would offer DPS a platform, with which they are seeking, among other things, the position of mayor of the municipality, adding that, if the new agreement is not acceptable to partners from DPS and the European Union, it will be offered to parties in power at the state level.
An agreement between the political entities that make up the parliamentary majority has not yet been reached, and as "Vijesti" unofficially learned from sources in those parties, negotiations are expected to begin next week.
DPS unofficially said that they expect to receive the BS platform by the end of this week.
