President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović sent his condolences to King of Spain Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the tragic train accident in Cordoba, in which a large number of human lives were lost.
This was announced today from Milatović's office.
"I extend my sincere condolences to the families of the victims, while I wish those injured a speedy and successful recovery. In these difficult times, Montenegro stands in solidarity with Spain and its citizens," said Milatović.
A collision between two trains in southern Spain has killed 39 people, a new toll was announced today.
A high-speed train, which was traveling on the Malaga-Madrid route with around 300 passengers, derailed in Adamuz, in the province of Cordoba and collided with another one coming from the opposite direction and carrying 184 passengers.
At least 73 people were injured, 24 of them seriously, reports the newspaper El Pais.
