The suspended head of the Citizens' Service and president of Free Montenegro, Vladislav Dajković, said that the president of New Serbian Democracy (NSD) and Parliament, Andrija Mandić, did not comment on his suspension.
"His party has not spoken out, and many times Dajković was on the street because of his friend Andrija Mandić," said Dajković, appearing on the show "Novo jutro" on RTV Pink.
On January 12, Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović issued a decision to initiate disciplinary proceedings and a suspension until the completion of those proceedings against Dajković, who is also the head of the Citizens' Service, due to suspicion that he committed a serious breach of official duty.
As stated in the decision, disciplinary proceedings were initiated due to suspicion that Dajković did not perform his official duties on December 31, 2025, during working hours, or that he performed his official duty negligently and negligently, by attending a protest rally organized against the construction of a capital project of the Capital City of Podgorica - the Wastewater Treatment Plant, at a location in the Botun settlement.
By the aforementioned actions, according to Mujović's decision, Dajković violated Article 4, paragraph 2 of the Code of Ethics for Elected Representatives and Officials in the Local Self-Government of the Capital City of Podgorica, thereby jeopardizing the interests and damaging the reputation of that local self-government.
Dajković said that he was not dismissed because he "stole a single euro from the city budget, nor did he rig any tender or get into a fight at work", but because he went to "support his Serb brothers in Zeta who were protesting about problems they consider vital in the town of Botun near Podgorica".
He pointed out that as part of the suspension decision, Mujović made a decision to ban Dajković from accessing the municipality.
He said that the only ones who came forward to support him after the suspension were Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and "comrade and friend" Milan Knežević (DNP).
