The Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Kolašin announced that party-family employment will continue in that municipality.
They announced that the number of employees in the local government is increasing by 45, and that another company is being founded.
"The Kolašin government is showing for the umpteenth time that it does not care at all about the transparency and stability of the city administration, but is guided exclusively by political interests and nepotism. Namely, the Mayor of the Municipality is planning to adopt a Personnel Plan in which the number of systematized jobs will increase by as much as 45. In response to a question from councilor Matija Bulatović, the Mayor of the Municipality stated that the Municipality currently employs 105 people. According to the new Personnel Plan, the number of employees will be 150. The local government's obvious intention is to try to prevent an electoral defeat through mass employment, so they plan to employ party and family-friendly personnel in the manner of the state government," the Kolašin DPS statement reads.
They note that the Personnel Plan applies only to local government and that it does not include local companies and public institutions, in which party-friendly personnel are already assigned according to the same matrix.
"How much they are interested in the local government functioning well is best demonstrated by the fact that another local company is planned to be established, to manage the Sports Zone. Thus, Kolašin will soon have as many as five local companies. It is clear to the citizens of Kolašin that the vision of establishing new companies is not for the common good, but for pure political interest and party recruitment. The Montenegrin public will see for the umpteenth time what the political character of the fighters against 'nepotism and party recruitment' is.
