This year, political parties will receive a total of 3,7 million euros from municipalities for regular work at the local level, of which the most will go to the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) - 819.104 euros, according to data published on the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK).
ASK notes that there is no data for Kotor, because that municipality did not publish the decision on allocating money to finance the regular work of parties within the prescribed deadline, while the data for Bijelo Polje and Pljevlja refer to the period from January 1 to March 31 of this year because those local governments are on a temporary financing regime (they have not adopted a budget for this year).
After DPS, the largest amount of money from municipalities, when it comes to large parties, will go to Democratic Montenegro (356.889 euros), then New Serbian Democracy (NSD) 261.579, Europe Now Movement (PES) 259.772, Democratic People's Party (DNP) 146.945, Civic Movement URA 233.326 euros, Social Democratic Party (SDP) 144.235, Socialist People's Party (SNP) 143.693, Social Democrats (SD) 140.168, Bosniak Party (BS) 132.460 euros...
Money from the state and local government budgets is distributed to parties in accordance with the Law on Party Financing, according to which 30 percent of funds are distributed evenly to political entities with won mandates, 50 percent according to the number of councilors, and 20 percent according to the representation of the underrepresented gender.
According to ASK data, a total of 16.755.562 is intended for financing the regular work of political entities (from the state and municipal budgets), of which around 13 million euros go to parties represented in the Parliament of Montenegro.
PODGORICA GIVES 790 THOUSAND EUROS TO PARTIES
From the budget of the Capital City, as announced on the ASK website, 790.549 euros have been allocated to parties, of which 220.463 euros go to the DPS, which individually has council seats, 74.481 to the Democrats, 17.993 to the SD and SDP (coalition European Union) each, 15.893 to the SNP, 82.891 to the GP URA, 75.598 to the NSD, and 43.811 to the DNP.
The Movement for Change (PzP) receives 4.362 euros from Podgorica, PES 99.308, Free and United Montenegro 9.305 euros each, the Party of European Progress (SEP) 53.867, and Preokret 47.279 euros.
In the municipality of Andrijevica, 41.371 euros were allocated from the local budget to finance the regular work of political entities.
Of this, the Andrijevica DPS received 12.017 euros, the SNP 8.052, the PES 7.190, the NSD 2.758, the Democrats 1.896, the DNP 1.379, the list of the citizens' group "For the Future of Our Children - Andrijevica" 5.319 and the list "Vasojevićki Pokret Ujedinjenja" 2.758 euros.
The Municipality of Bar has allocated 262.900 euros for the regular work of political parties this year, of which DPS receives 68.374 euros, Democrats 18.992, PES 18.992, SD 32.488, BS 18.325, SDP 12.911, GP URA 20.344, and NSD 11.612 euros. DNP in Bar receives 15,117 euros, PzP 5.806, CIVIS 3.814, Liberal Party (LP) 4.303, United Montenegro 8.667, Albanian Alternative 1.271, and the list "I Choose Montenegro" 21.877 euros.
Parties in Budva are receiving a total of 456.893 euros for their regular work this year.
The largest amount was allocated to the list "Budva our city - Nikola Jovanović", 116.151 euros, while the coalition "For the future of Budva" received 104.729 euros. The list led by DPS received 79.461 euros.
The Democrats-PES coalition received 51.771 euros, the Voters' Group "Movement for the City - Đorđe Zenović" received 44.848 euros, the SDP received 33.426 euros, while URA received 26.503 euros.
The municipality of Berane has allocated 145.938 euros from the budget to finance the regular work of political entities. Of this, DPS receives 19.973 euros, Democrats 17.827, SNP 22.119 euros, BS 8.670 NSD 17,827, DNP 13,248 euros. PES receives 22.119 euros, Free Montenegro 6.524 and United 6.524 euros, and the list "Because I Love Berane" 11.102 euros.
BIJELO POLJE AND PLJEVLJA ARE ALLOCATING ABOUT 50 THOUSAND DKK EACH IN THREE MONTHS
In the municipality of Bijelo Polje, which is on temporary funding, 44.716 euros have been allocated from the budget for three months for parties. Of this, DPS gets 12.180 euros, Democrats 2.962, SD 2.152, SNP 3.124, BS 5.021, SDP 1.464, GP URA 3.812, NSD 3.650, and DNP 987 euros. PzP gets 1.675, PES 5.709, and the Civic Movement "People and the Dot" and United 987 euros each.
Pljevlja, which is also on temporary funding, is allocating 54.742 euros from the budget to parties for three months. Of that, DPS gets 10.135 euros, Democrats 5.683, SNP 2.936, BS 3.131, GP URA 1.957, NSD 12.612, DNP 3.069, PES 9.241, Movement for Pljevlja 3.389, and United 2.584 euros.
In the municipality of Cetinje, 118.910 euros were allocated from the budget to finance the regular work of political entities, of which 19.258 euros went to DPS, 16.673 to Democrats, 8.530 to SD, 35.543 to SDP, 22.231 to GP URA, and 16.673 to Stara Garda of the Liberal Alliance.
Danilovgrad has allocated 94.600 euros for party financing. Of that, DPS receives 16.024 euros, Democrats 10.778, SD 3.497, SNP 6.478 euros, SDP and Preokret each receive 4.586 euros, GP URA 7.912, NSD 4.128, DNP 6.020, PzP 2.064, PES 20.296, Prava Crno Gori 4.586 and Liberal Party 3.640 euros.
Parties in the municipality of Gusinje will receive a total of 20.000 euros from the local budget this year. DPS has been allocated 3.999 euros, Democrats 1.933, SD 2.914, BS 3.733, SDP 819, Albanian Alternative 1.146, Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA) 513, Democratic Alliance of Albanians 2,673 and Movement for Gusinje 2.266 euros.
In the municipality of Herceg Novi, 270.000 euros were allocated from the budget for parties, of which 34.713 euros went to DPS, 57.856 to Democrats, 11.571 to SD, 5.785 to SDP, 15.428 to URA, 23.145 to NSD, 7.715 to DNP. The New List received 73.285, the Right Party received 7.715, the LP received 1.928, and the civic movements "Otvorena Boka" received 11.571 and "Idemo" received 19.285 euros.
In Kolašin, parties will receive a total of 70.948 euros from the budget for regular work this year. The Democrats will receive 12.955 euros, DPS 11.473 euros, SD 1.482, SNP 9.053 euros. SDP will receive 2.964, GP URA 4.185, NSD 5.098, DNP 3.809, PES 9.053, the Voters' Group "For Our Kolašin" 6.619 and United 4.254 euros.
Parties in Mojkovac will receive 60.837 euros from the local budget, with DPS receiving the most (18.637 euros). Democrats will receive 8.454 euros, SD 2.806, SNP 6.120, URA 3.787, NSD 7.472, DNP 2.806, PZP 2.806, Ujedinjena 2.806 and "Ne damo Mojkovac" 5.139 euros.
ALMOST 400 THOUSAND TO NIKŠIĆ PARTIES
The municipality of Nikšić has allocated 379.655 euros from the budget to finance the regular work of political entities. Of this, DPS is due 129.400 euros, Democrats 42.092, SD 12.815, SNP 20.989, SDP 12.815, NSD 47.167, and DNP 20.989 euros. The Europe Now Movement receives 56.776 euros, Free Montenegro 5.188 euros, LP 6.407, United 10.612, and the True and Yugoslav Communist Parties of Montenegro (JKPCG) each receive 7.200 euros.
Petnjica allocates 22.264 euros from the budget for parties this year, of which DPS receives 9.243 euros, Democrats 1.673, SD 1.672, SNP 1.313, BS 4.380, SDP 1.313 and the Party of Justice and Reconciliation (SPP) 2.667 euros.
The parties in Plav will receive 47.197 euros from the municipal budget for their regular work. Of this, DPS will receive 7.477 euros, SD 9.760, SNP 2.334, BS 10.048, SDP 4.905, GP URA 3.095, NSD 2.334, DNP 4.905 euros, and Albanian Alternative 2.334 euros.
IN PLUŽINE, SNP GETS THE MOST MONEY
The budget of the municipality of Pluzine has allocated 58.465 euros for the work of political parties this year, of which the largest amount goes to the SNP (27.514 euros). The DPS will receive a total of 5.456 euros, the Democrats 9.531, the GP URA 5.545, and the NSD 10.417 euros.
In the municipality of Zeta, 75.905 euros were allocated from the budget for financing the regular work of political entities. DPS received 17.941 euros, Democrats 16.755, SNP 8.259, NSD 13.229, DNP 13.714, PzP 4.463, and Prava 1.541 euros.
Tuzi is allocating 94.167 euros from the budget to parties this year. Of that, 29.100 euros were allocated to the Albanian Alternative, 10.332 euros to the DPS, 8.533 to the Democrats, 2.059 to the SD, 10.332 to the BS, 2.560 to the SDP, 5.973 to the Movement for Tuzi, 8.272 to the DUA, 11,411 to the DSA, and 5.591 to the National Albanian Union.
In the municipality of Rožaje, 115.133 euros will be allocated for the regular work of the parties - 16.207 for DPS, 5.545 for SD, 61.235 for BS, 5.545 for SDP, 14.579 for URA and 12.021 for SPP.
Šavnik, known for the fact that elections have not been completed since October 23, 2022, is giving parties 38.180 euros from the budget. Of this, DPS receives 20.624 euros, Democrats 5.727, SD 837, SNP 5.148, and NSD 5,842 euros.
In Tivat, 216,273 euros are allocated from the budget for parties. Of this amount, DPS receives 38.073 euros, Democrats 16.626, SD 10.878, SDP 10.878, NSD 14.997, DNP 7.498, PES 11.084, Croatian Civic Initiative 22.496, Krtoljska Lista 19.117, Democratic Serbian Party (DSS) 11.084, LP 5.439, Bokeški Forum 15.737, Tivatska Akcija 15.737 and the list "Narod pobjeđuje" 16.626 euros.
In Ulcinj, 187.000 euros are allocated for the regular work of the parties. DPS receives 29.270 euros, Democrats 19.763, SD 10.146, BS 7.580, SDP 3.634, URA 21.050. Albanian Alternative receives 6.511 euros, Forca 31.140, DUA 24.567, Democratic Alliance in Montenegro 9.406, and Democratic Party 23,927 euros.
In the municipality of Žabljak, a total of 40.106 euros will be allocated for the regular work of the parties. Of this, DPS will receive 8.364, Durmitor Initiative 6.359, Democrats 5.691, SD 3.017, and SNP 4.354 euros. NSD will receive 3.685 euros, DNP 1.871, PzP 1.871, DS 3.017, and Prava 1.871 euros.
