Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro Nikola Camaj congratulated President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Speaker of the Parliament Albulena Haxhiu, and the citizens of Kosovo on Kosovo's Independence Day.
"The celebration of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo is a reminder of the importance of perseverance in building a democratic society based on the rule of law, respect for human rights and equal opportunities for all citizens," Camaj said in his congratulatory message.
He added that Montenegro remains a strong advocate of good neighborly relations and regional cooperation, because, as he said, "only through partnership and open communication can we respond to the challenges of the contemporary Balkans."
"Kosovo has a significant role in that process and I am confident that it will continue to contribute to stability and peace in the region. I wish the citizens of Kosovo to welcome this holiday with optimism, faith in their institutions, and the strength to continue the path of reforms, economic development, and European perspectives," concluded Camaj.
