Montenegro and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) confirm a strong partnership in line with the priorities of the European Union (EU), it was announced at a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović and UNDP Resident Representative Ekatarina Paniklova.

"The joint commitment to the goal of closing all negotiation chapters by the end of the current year was confirmed, so that Montenegro would be ready to become the 28th member of the EU by 2028," the statement said.
