As announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ibrahimović spoke with the foreign ministers of Jordan, Egypt and Kuwait, Ayman Safadi, Badr Abdelati and Jarrah Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

"During the conversation, the current security situation in the Middle East was discussed, with particular attention to recent developments and their possible consequences for regional stability," the statement said.

It is added that Ibrahimović informed his interlocutors about Montenegro's positions regarding the latest developments, emphasizing that Podgorica is following the events with great attention following the additional increase in tensions and escalation of the security situation in the region.

"He pointed out that further destabilizing moves risk deepening the crisis and moving away from the possibility of calming the situation through diplomatic channels," the statement said.

Ibrahimović, it was added, assessed that at this moment, stronger engagement of the international community through intensive diplomacy is of crucial importance, in order to restore the conditions for security and stability in the region, which is of broader importance for global security.

He said that Montenegro will continue to support initiatives that contribute to reducing tensions, protecting the civilian population, dialogue between stakeholders, and long-term sustainable stability.

"The interlocutors exchanged views on current challenges and opportunities for further diplomatic action, with a shared assessment that the continuation of political dialogue and international coordination is of key importance in the upcoming period," the statement concluded.
