MP Miodrag Laković posted a photo with his parliamentary colleague Nikola Janović, along with the sentence: "Montenegrins having coffee - oil on canvas."
Last night, after the adoption of amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs, which he considers controversial, Laković said that he was leaving the Europe Now parliamentary group, that he would run as an independent MP, and that he was resigning from his membership in parliamentary committees. He had previously submitted five amendments to the law, which were rejected.
Janović is also an independent MP, since leaving the Democratic Party of Socialists in December last year.
"Word and integrity - above all else! Welcome to the club," wrote Janović, who shared a photo from Laković's profile with his followers.
In December last year, Janović said that he considered it correct to resign from his membership in the DPS, given the continued disagreements with the party's positions.
When asked if he planned to form a new party, he replied that the fact that he was continuing as an opposition MP in his independent work indicated that he intended to engage in politics.
"Does this mean that in some future period there may be a possibility of something - I can't tell you at this moment. It all depends on the environment, possibilities, assessments, but of course, because I want to continue fighting for my values, all options are open," Janović said at the time.
