The Office of the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, announced today that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has not yet confirmed his attendance at the session of the Defense and Security Council scheduled for 11 am.

As stated by Milatović's cabinet, this is the fifth time since the beginning of the year that the Prime Minister has not responded to an invitation to a session.

"Continued avoidance of participation in sessions leads to the blocking of decision-making in the field of defense and security, including issues that directly concern the functioning of the Army of Montenegro and the overall security system of the state," the statement states.

The Office of the President of Montenegro added that the attendance at the session was confirmed by the Speaker of the Parliament Andrija Mandić, Minister of Defense Dragan Krapović, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović, and Director of the National Security Agency Ivica Janović.

Milatović scheduled a session of the Defense and Security Council for March 2nd.
