Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović spoke out on the death of German philosopher Jürgen Habermas, stating that he left behind a concept of great value for Montenegrin society - constitutional patriotism.
"In essence, this means that patriotism is not measured by symbols and flags, but by our relationship with the state and its laws. In practical terms, this means passing quality laws and completing the Constitutional Court," Milatović wrote on the X network.
He said that "we decide what kind of Montenegro we want".
"It is time to overcome particular interests and create the belief that the future of Montenegro can only be European and civic, based on the rule of law," said Milatović.
