Murino is a permanent wound for Montenegro, announced today the advisor to the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, for public policy, Marija Vesković.
"Twenty-seven years after the start of the NATO bombing, we reverently remember all the innocent victims and the difficult legacy that period left behind. Remembering those days is not only a relationship with the past, but also an obligation to preserve the truth about the suffering from oblivion and to show respect for the innocent victims. Murino is a permanent wound for Montenegro," said Vesković.
She added that the suffering of six innocent civilians, including three children, remains etched in our collective memory as a painful testimony of a time.
"Respect for innocent victims is not only a debt to the past, but also a measure of the values of the society we strive for," she concluded.
