The Mayor of Budva Municipality Nikola Jovanović has appointed Nina Miković as the new acting secretary of the Secretariat for Social Activities. This was confirmed to "Vijesti" by the local administration. Miković is a member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
With this, DPS took over another seat in the local administration, after Jovanović appointed Saša Samardžić as Secretary for Property Protection last week.
By providing project support to Jovanović's administration, DPS has so far gained management of the Budva Tourist Organization, the Municipal Company, the Parking Service and the City Theater.
Miković holds a PhD in Economics in the field of finance. She worked at the National Bank of Serbia from 2016 to 2025. She was engaged in tasks arising from the cooperation of the National Bank of Serbia with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank Group and other international financial organizations. She was involved in the recording and control of the implementation of financial transactions with the IMF and other international financial organizations, as well as the analysis and study of their business policies. She coordinated IPA projects financed from European Union funds. She previously worked at the auditing firm Deloitte & Touche and Erste Bank.
