Vujović: The defeat of right-wingers and populists in Hungary is the best possible news for our region

European Union officials welcomed Viktor Orban's electoral defeat in Hungary, describing it as an important signal of the weakening of right-wing populism in the region, the coalition said in a statement.

The president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and one of the leaders of the European Alliance, Ivan Vujović, stated on the X network that he felt most sorry for Vučić and one of our members of the Government.

"The defeat of the right-wingers and populists in Hungary is the best possible news for our region. For democracy, the EU and politics with a human face. Now, in order," said Vujović.

Deputy President of the SDP and representative of the European Union, Petar Odžić, said that two things are obvious - first, that this train is going in the opposite direction from the EU, and second, that it will definitely not reach where it started.

"Viktor is 'Odran' from tonight, and let Fićo, Vučko, Mile, Manda and Pipun get ready! Thank you and goodbye," said Odžić.

The president of the Main Board (G) of the SDP and representative of the European Union, Mirko Stanić, also spoke out.

"Comrades, the end! Now let's see the backs of our domestic comrades Orban, Sijarta, JD Vanc and others who would create a world of hatred, wars and divisions," Stanić said, the statement added.

International Secretary of the SD and representative of the European Union, Miloš Đuričković, assessed that the constituents of the parliamentary majority in Montenegro had lost one of the political partners who best reflected how they saw the European Union.

"It wasn't that long ago when officials from the Europe Now Movement, New Serbian Democracy and others from the majority were enthusiastic about Orban, singing songs to Trump, nominating him for the Nobel Prize, etc. They are implementing the same policy in Montenegro, only under disguise. They know that such a policy can never have majority support in civic and anti-fascist Montenegro. We hope that Hungary is the beginning of the European Spring and a departure from populism. PS Vučić, they have "solved" Hungary for you too," he concluded.
