Opposition representatives in parliament signed an initiative today to hold a control hearing regarding the announced debt of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) of 70 million euros, announced Democratic Party of Socialists MP Mihailo Andjušić.
The opposition is demanding a control hearing of Energy Minister Admir Šahmanović, Finance Minister Novica Vuković, President of the Board of Directors of EPCG Milutin Đukanović, and EPCG Executive Director Zdravko Dragaš.
Anđušić stated on the X network that the opposition has been warning for a long time that the situation in the energy sector is catastrophic and that state-owned companies have been privatized for the party and personal interests of government officials.
"Such an approach comes at a cost and the cost of damage is measured in tens of millions of euros," said Andjušić.
