Jovanović announces participation in parliamentary elections: I will defeat bad policies, put national divisions aside

The President of the Municipality of Budva and the leader of the political group "Budva Our City", Nikola Jovanović, announced tonight that he will participate in the parliamentary elections.

"I will keep my promise to defeat bad politicians at the state level, just as I have at the local level. I will most likely participate in the elections at both the parliamentary and local levels. I think this will be met with great approval from citizens. Many citizens are disappointed, a narrative is slowly being created that the situation after 2020 will be just as bad or worse than before, expectations have been let down and citizens are expecting a new political offer that can be trusted. In that sense, I think we are the right choice for them, we will offer a new political platform, to put national divisions aside," Jovanović said in the show "Iznova" on Nova M television.

He did not want to say in which municipalities he would participate in the local elections.

When asked who his partners are and whether it is the President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, Jovanović said: "Our partners are everyone who shares our values."

"Milatović needs to get politically engaged and affirm himself," said Jovanović.
