Milatović in Yerevan with European leaders at the European Political Community Summit

President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović will participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan, Armenia, on May 4th.

As part of the Summit, Milatović will attend the plenary session and co-chair a roundtable on the topic "Strengthening Democratic Resilience and Confronting Hybrid Threats" together with Romanian President Nișoor Danu.

"The President will also participate in the second informal meeting of the European Coalition to Fight Drugs, launched by French President Macron and Italian Prime Minister Meloni, and will also attend a working dinner hosted by Armenian President Vahan Khachaturian and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan," the President's Office announced.

It has been announced that Milatović will also have a bilateral meeting with the President of the European Council, Antonio Košta.

The summit will bring together numerous European and international leaders, including Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who is participating in this summit for the first time.

"The summit is taking place at an important moment for Europe and represents a platform for discussions on key issues of security, economic and energy stability, as well as strengthening democratic resilience. President Milatović's participation represents a continuation of intensive diplomatic activity with a clear focus on accelerating the country's European path and further affirming Montenegro as the next member of the European Union. In this sense, the Yerevan Summit will be an opportunity to further strengthen partnerships with European leaders and confirm Montenegro's commitment to European integration," it was announced.
