Todorović: Jovanović, no need for manipulation, where did you spend 21 million?

The Democratic People's Party (DNP) has called on the President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, to stop the manipulations for which he is known, because it will not help him, and to answer where he spent 21 million euros.

"It is truly fascinating to listen to lessons on responsibility from the so-called mayor of Budva and 'financial magician' Nikola Jovanović, a man who has managed to betray everything that can be betrayed. While he is trying to obscure reality with cheap and already seen manipulations, Jovanović should know that the citizens of Budva have not forgotten who did what, nor who betrayed whom," said Jovana Todorović, a DNP councilor in the Budva parliament.

The Democratic People's Party, as she emphasized, unlike Jovanović, has clearly and principledly shown where it stands.

"We came out of, as we called it, a pornographic - criminal government, and that speaks best about us, our policies and the principles we represent, and that is precisely what citizens recognize and appreciate. In contrast, Nikola Jovanović, while he was in the Democratic Party, was, by all accounts, a mere Trojan horse for the DPS. A man who trampled on both principles and ideology, betrayed the electoral will of the citizens and, without the slightest shame, ended up in the arms of the very people he was supposedly fighting against. Such a political biography cannot be explained or justified," Todorović points out.

It is Jovanović, as he emphasizes, who is in close contact with that same pornographic criminal government because it is an open secret that certain ministers and high-ranking PES officials are not removed from the municipality and his cabinet.

"That's why today, faced with his own failure, he is trying to change the subject. But we will not allow a change of theses. We are asking him publicly again: Where are the 20 million euros of funds transferred from last year? And where are the funds that the Municipality has generated from January to today? Does Jovanović know that employees of the Municipality and municipal enterprises live off their salaries? That they pay rent, educate children, buy basic groceries, repay loans and settle bills? He obviously doesn't know. Because if he did, he would hide in a mouse hole out of shame and issue a public apology to the same people he left without income during the holidays. But we are used to the opposite from him: lack of responsibility and excessive self-promotion. That's why we are telling him: No point in manipulating. No point in trying to change theses. Citizens are not naive. He deceived them once. He certainly won't do it again. And that's why it is already clear that his political path is only going in one direction: towards the political past!", concluded Todorović.
