Knowledge, dedication and critical thinking are the foundation of the development of a modern and democratic society, said Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović at a meeting with students of the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN) of the University of Montenegro.

A group of FPN students visited the Government at the initiative of the Faculty's Student Council.

The Government announced that during the visit, the students had the opportunity to learn about the work of the Government, as well as key priorities in the field of foreign and European affairs, with a special focus on the European integration process of Montenegro.

"The Vice President emphasized the importance of actively involving young people in social and political processes, emphasizing that knowledge, dedication, and critical thinking are the foundation of the development of a modern and democratic society," the statement said.

The Government said that the students, in an open and constructive conversation, asked questions related to the dynamics of negotiations with the European Union, the role of youth in creating public policies, as well as opportunities for professional development in public administration and diplomacy.

Ivanović stated that he was pleased with the students' interest in public policy and European integration and said that the Cabinet would remain open to similar initiatives in the future, with the aim of strengthening dialogue with the academic community and young people.

"This visit represents another step towards improving cooperation between the institutions of the system and students, as well as an incentive for greater transparency and inclusiveness in the work of state administration," the statement said.
