Is the Ministry of Defense, which should be the pride of the state of Montenegro, sad when their defense of the facts is based on the fact that in the Armed Forces of Montenegro "there is no lieutenant colonel with the initials VB", said European Union MP Nikola Zirojević.
"It is true that, due to an official visit to Germany where I am trying to repair the serious damage that the party of Dragan Krapović and State Secretary Radević is causing on our European path, I made an oversight when I labeled Colonel VB as a lieutenant colonel, which I myself corrected before State Secretary Radević's reaction. The content of the statement signed by the State Secretary, which refers more to the political pathos of Minister Krapović during our last debate in Parliament, shows that it left serious trauma and caused serious complexes in the relevant minister. And it is no wonder, because it has been a long time since a minister showed such incompetence during a debate in Parliament. However, by trying to remind me of that very nice memory, and the minister of the severe trauma, you will not succeed in diverting the topic from what is on the agenda today," said Zirojević.
He added that everything he said at the time was "completely true."
"On the other hand, the attempt to defend yourself from this scandal by claiming that 'there is no lieutenant colonel', while you know full well that there is a colonel VB, can be characterized as an expression of obvious powerlessness and incompetence that you continuously demonstrate. If you have ever watched the quiz show Puzzle, I offer you the following game. If you guess correctly, you will receive a prize that is also one of the greatest weaknesses of your party, a portion of pancakes for you and the minister, at my expense. Or a garden salad. The colonel's name is V___b__ B__r__. Time is running out, guess." It is shameful, in the end, Ms. Radević, that from the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense you accuse honorable and honest officers of the Army of Montenegro of cheering for any individual, especially the team you mention, just because they attended a patriotic rally draped with the Montenegrin flag," said Zirojević.
He also pointed out that this "persecution will soon end, after the parliamentary elections."
"Finally, we will have the opportunity to discuss all of this at the Security Committee session scheduled for May 15th. I invite you, instead of cowardly flight, to be our guests, and the majority MPs to ensure a quorum so that we can discuss this very important topic. Anything other than that would be classic cowardice to which, I must say, we are unfortunately accustomed," said Zirojević.
