The Budva branch of the Civic Movement (GP) URA said that the leaders of the DPs - Milan Tičić, the Mayor of the Municipality Nikola Jovanović and the President of the Municipal Assembly Petar Odžić - are playing dead while Budva is in complete chaos.
"The government in Budva has been out of business for a long time, and another proof of this is the failure to hold sessions of the Budva Municipal Assembly for a long time (the last session of the Budva Municipal Assembly was held on March 13). Although problems are piling up day by day, employees are not being paid on time, there is no plan for temporary facilities, secretariats and companies are in an acting state, and the term of office of the President of the Executive Board of the Budva Tourist Organization expired in November," the party said in a statement.
They said that the government in Budva has started a crackdown on all "disobedient" people, regardless of whether they are professionals with results.
"So you tried to remove the director of the Budva Day Care Center in order to bring in someone suitable for the party. The boards of directors and directors of municipal companies are illegally and in violation of the company's Statute transferring money, which is a crime. Sports clubs are being turned into party clubs that serve to suck money without taking into account our children, illegal construction and temporary solid construction facilities are expanding at an unprecedented rate, and Tičić, Jovanović, Odžić and the others are "playing dead" as if nothing is happening," point out the Budva Police Headquarters.
As they emphasize, we have entered the tourist season, "while the remnants of the executive branch, without a clear majority, are only concerned with destroying the budget, contracting dubious deals and arrangements worth millions, and bringing back the bad policies of the DPS in full swing."
"Everything has been reduced to a flea market and classic trade. Instead of decisions being made transparently in the Budva Municipal Council, we are witnessing, as in the past, that the president's office has moved to a private villa in Prijevor, and the executive services to a shop at the entrance to Budva," this party points out.
They asked, "Gentlemen, where is your capital budget for infrastructure of 35 million euros?"
"Where are the garages, the sports hall at the High School, the promenade at Grđevica? Where are your funds for tenants? What is happening with the public kitchen? You are not interested in what you should be doing, but what Brano Gvozdenović and Milo Đukanović failed to do and which is not your scope of work, you have no problem signing off on, as in the example of the construction of apartments in Miločerski Park or being the PR of the MK Group for the sale of Slovenska plaža," they state from GP URA: and add:
"You forgot that that three-decade-old OKG DPS thought it would last forever, but "it freezes before dawn" ask the financiers from DPS! Maybe you, the random president of the Budva municipality, Jovanović, forgave those who admitted that they damaged the citizens of Budva for millions, maybe you forgave them Avala, Zavala, TQ, cinemas, desalination and WTE, the promenade in Petrovac, Sveti Stefan, Hotel As, Citadel, Adriatic Guard, JRB, maybe you forgave them pepper spray and police beatings, maybe you forgave them all for a certain reason, but the citizens of Budva have not forgotten them and they will not forget you either!", concludes the statement of the Budva GP URA.
