Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović will posthumously award the Order of Independence to Branko Lukovac, a doyen of Montenegrin diplomacy, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and coordinator of the Movement for an Independent and European Montenegro, "Vijesti" has learned.
This is the first time this order has been awarded.
The order will be awarded by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović.
It is given to "individuals who have made a special contribution to the restoration of statehood through their actions."
