The Democratic People's Party (DNP) fully understands the obligations undertaken by Jelena Borovinić Bojović, who must work her media wages by attacking our party since her vice-presidential position in the government is still not secure, the DNP announced today.
The party, led by Milan Knežević, reacted to today's statement by the former President of the Capital City Assembly, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, who, among other things, said that "the formation of a new majority in Podgorica is on the horizon", but also that "any cooperation with the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) leads to their resuscitation".
She also stated that, as she "announced when she resigned, she has turned the spotlight on the opposition" - so that citizens can clearly see where everyone is, who is with whom, and what is going on behind the scenes.
"Her metaphor of turning on the spotlight ended with a burnt out light bulb and the fiasco of the plan to introduce compulsory administration in Podgorica. And that means that Ms. Borovinić Bojović must finally, at least formally, choose the party whose quota she is on, because at the moment she is in the Bermuda Triangle between NSD-PES-PZP, so she will be forced to consult her old mentor Zlatko Vujović from CEMI about which empire to side with," the DNP statement said.
The party said that "of course, Ms. Borovinić Bojović can also consult her colleague Jefta Eraković, who was appointed head of pulmonology in 2019 while we were in prisons, prosecutors' offices, and courts."
"How is it possible that Ms. Borovinić Bojović did not mind the DPS staff who proposed her for such a responsible position. Especially considering the SKAY correspondence in which the current MP Eraković communicates with Aco Mijailović about the health condition of the now-blessed metropolitan. Also, Ms. Borovinić Bojović did not mind the DPS when she had a meeting with Milo Đukanović through a family line in 2020, in order to convince him to help her receive the Thirteenth of July Award instead of the then laureate, Dr. Ranko Lazović. Of course, this is not an obstacle for Ms. Jelena Borovinić Bojović to be in the front rows of the temple on every religious holiday in order to show herself to a wide media audience as the greatest believer in Montenegro," the DNP statement reads.
The party said that the main problem with Borovinić Bojović "is that she has overcommitted herself, thinking that with her resignation she will enable the introduction of compulsory administration in Podgorica, and then receive the vice-presidential position in the government as a reward."
"Together with Saša Mujović, she is the main cause of the current crisis, because she intubated Podgorica, with the intention of having the former mayor administer oxygen and continue ruling without legitimacy. And now she is even more angry that we thwarted their plan to introduce compulsory administration," said the DNP.
They said that "whenever someone is angry, they start to measure Serbianness."
"It has become a favorite discipline, in which we see Mrs. Borovinić participating, especially after her family wrapped themselves in the Montenegrin flag to congratulate the so-called restoration of independence, because it is good to have a flag in every pocket forever. We are convinced that in the photo with the Montenegrin flag, at least in her mind, the fugitive criminal Ljubo Milović congratulated her, with whom Mrs. Bojović met several times, and who could perhaps help in locating him. And as for Serbness, if it is measured by the number of positions, stolen parliamentary and council mandates and pending positions, we acknowledge that Mrs. Borovinić and the members of the Bojović family are the greatest Serbs in Montenegro," the DNP statement reads.
That party also said that it wasn't all about positions, and that there was also some treason involved.
"The hardest thing is the first time, it's like when you lose a tooth and you have a new one installed at someone else's expense, and you think that this new tooth can chew everything, but while you're chewing the betrayal with the new tooth, you don't feel that your other teeth have fallen out," the DNP statement reads.
