The first man of Serbia emphasized that Montenegro's relationship towards that country is "absolutely unchanged" compared to the period before 2020.

"As for the relationship towards Serbia, it's absolutely the same. Not an iota better, not an iota worse. I'm used to that. Don't forget that this relationship was further deteriorated during the implementation of the colored revolution here, because the media in Montenegro played a significant role as a platform for attacking and overthrowing the government in Serbia. It's a real hybrid war. Since they talk about a hybrid war, they are waging a hybrid war against Serbia and everyone is participating in it or pretending not to see that they are participating," he said.

As he added, they did not interfere in Montenegrin territorial and constitutional issues.

"We did not take away part of Montenegro's territory, they took away part of Serbia's territory, namely 14 percent of the territory - Kosovo and Metohija. It is not their place to lecture us on how to negotiate and what to do, but it was their place to adhere to international law, which they did not adhere to, as well as friendly and brotherly relations with Serbia. Since they are talking about Montenegro never betraying Serbia, that is not true," he said.

The head of the Montenegrin parliament, Andrija Mandić, stated ten days ago that "Montenegro has never betrayed Serbia."

"As a man who comes from the Serbian people, I have to say that Montenegro has never betrayed Serbia. We were together in wars, including in '91 when Yugoslavia was falling apart. We were together in '99 during the bombing. The fact that the state status was changed in 2006 by referendum, I was the youngest leader of the Bloc for a Common State, the international factor supported an independent Montenegro. 20 years have passed, this country and the young generation have the right to life. This is their country, their state, they have the right to be successful, happy," said Mandić, while appearing on RTCG.

Vučić also said that "people who have declared themselves as Serbs will always have the support of the mother country, but also that he hopes that they will fight for their rights - the flag, the language", and stressed that he "believes in my comrade Milan Knežević and many other people in Montenegro who are hardworking and serious".
