The Embassy of Montenegro in the Netherlands organized a ceremonial reception in The Hague to mark the anniversary - 20 years since the restoration of Montenegro's independence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

In his address to the attendees, Ambassador Milisav Raspopović emphasized the importance of Montenegro's two-decade development as an independent and internationally recognized state, its commitment to European values, strengthening international cooperation, as well as improving bilateral relations with the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

"The reception took place in a cordial atmosphere, with great interest among those present in Montenegro and its development prospects. A significant promotional effect was achieved, both in terms of representing our country and in strengthening ties with Dutch institutions, the diplomatic community and the diaspora," Ervin Ibrahimović's department announced.
