At the session of the Mojkovac Municipal Assembly to be held on Friday, June 19, the deputy mayors of the Municipality will be elected, and the proposed candidates are Boško Laketić from the Civic Movement URA and Pavle Vuković from the We Will Not Give Mojkovac list.
Boško Laketić was born in 1993 in Mojkovac, where he completed primary and secondary school, and then history at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. He has been a member of the Civic Movement URA since 2016, the president of the Mojkovac board of URE and a member of the party's Presidency. Laketić has previously been a councilor in the Mojkovac Municipal Assembly.
Pavle Vuković, born in 1997, is a specialist in forensic science, obtained at the University of Belgrade. He completed his internship at the Forensic Center of Montenegro, after which he gained work experience in the private sector. He is currently successfully engaged in rural tourism, running a family farm. He is a member of the Executive Board of the Mojkovac Tourist Organization. Vuković is a member of the Municipal Board of the Europe Now Movement (PES) in Mojkovac.
The local government in Mojkovac is made up of the coalition For the Future of Mojkovac with eight seats, Democratic Montenegro with four, the Civic Movement URA and the list We Will Not Give Mojkovac with two seats each, and United Montenegro with one, which makes up the majority of 17 councilors out of a total of 31.
Ivan Ašanin and Goran Palević, who were previously vice presidents of the Municipality, lost their positions in February.
