Krapović at the EUROSATORY fair: Modernization of the Montenegrin Army among the key priorities of the Ministry of Defense

The modernization of the Montenegrin Army is one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Defense, said the head of that department, Dragan Krapović.

At the invitation of the Minister of the Army and Veterans of France, Catherine Vautrin, he participated in the "EUROSATORY" Defense and Security Fair, one of the most significant world events dedicated to presenting modern achievements in the field of defense and security, according to the ministry.

"The fair, which brought together a large number of foreign official delegations, representatives of governments, armed and police forces, as well as renowned international companies from the military industry, represented a platform for learning about the latest technologies, equipment and trends that contribute to the improvement of defense capacities. During the fair, the Minister was introduced to the rich offer of numerous international companies, as well as the latest achievements in the world of the defense industry, since the modernization of the capacities of the Montenegrin Army is one of the key priorities of the Ministry of Defense," they emphasized.

They add that visiting the fair was an opportunity to exchange experiences with representatives of countries, international organizations, as well as leading companies in this field.

Krapović emphasized the importance of international cooperation and the importance of following modern trends, as Montenegro remains committed to continuing to invest in the development of the capabilities of the Montenegrin Army, in line with modern challenges and needs of the state.

"The participation of the Montenegrin delegation, led by Minister Krapović, at this fair is an expression of Montenegro's commitment to the development of defense capabilities, as a necessary prerequisite for strengthening the image of a credible ally," the statement concludes.
