Democrats: Inspectorate to say whether it filed a report against the people who removed the stamp from the parking lot in Petrovac

The Budva branch of Democratic Montenegro today called on the Municipal Inspection to inform the public whether it has filed criminal charges against the persons who removed the seal from the parking lot in Petrovac.

They posted on social media a bill in the parking lot near Voli in Petrovac, from which the Municipal Police seal had previously been removed, which is a criminal offense.

"Has the Municipal Inspection of the Municipality of Budva filed a criminal report with the Police Department due to suspicion of the commission of this criminal offense? Please do not mislead the public, the parking lot is, unfortunately, still in operation!", said the Budva Democrats.

The Budva Municipality's municipal inspection yesterday, ex officio, sealed what they say is an illegal parking space across from the "Voli" supermarket in Petrovac.

"The inspection determined that the company 'Pester CO' was usurping space on cadastral plots owned by the Municipality of Budva, HG 'Budvanska rivijera' and DOO 'Zetagradnja'. The subject of the inspection did not possess any technical documentation or legal basis for carrying out parking fee collection activities. In accordance with the law, the space has been sealed, its use is prohibited, and the entire case is being urgently forwarded to the competent state inspection bodies for further action," the Municipality stated yesterday.
