The United States (US) welcomes Montenegro's reaffirmed commitment to NATO as a reliable ally and partner in strengthening regional stability in the Western Balkans and beyond, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced today.
As announced on the US State Department website, he sent heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the US to the citizens of Montenegro on the occasion of Statehood Day.
"The United States and Montenegro share a deep and enduring bond, founded on peace, shared prosperity, and collective security. We remain committed to further strengthening this partnership and deepening the relationship between our two countries in the years to come. I wish all citizens of Montenegro a joyful and memorable celebration of National Day," Rubio said.
