In the direct intra-party elections held yesterday, Srđan Dragomanović was elected president of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Kotor, and Mirza Nurković was elected president of the Municipal Committee of the DPS Rožaje.
This was announced today by DPS.
The statement states that Dragomanović was born on August 4, 1979 in Kotor, that he has a law degree and that he serves as the director of a nursing home.
"He is a long-time member of the Democratic Party of Socialists and an active participant in socio-political life in Kotor," said the DPS.
The party said that Nurković was born on August 16, 1984 in Rožaje, and that he earned his degree as a specialist in internal medicine in April of this year.
It is stated that Nurković is a long-time member of the DPS, within which he has held various party positions, from the president of the local committee to a member of the Main Committee.
"Members of the Democratic Party of Socialists yesterday made their maximum contribution to the implementation of the electoral process, which our party introduced with the aim of establishing some new positive trends on the political scene of Montenegro and contributing to the further democratization of the entire society," the DPS statement reads.
