Knežević: We will soon come up with the name of the new municipality that will follow in the footsteps of Zeta and Pljevlja

President and MP of the Democratic People's Party (DNP), Milan Knežević, congratulated the councilors of the Pljevlja Municipal Assembly who today voted in favor of the Declaration on Non-Recognition of the Decision on the Recognition of the Unilaterally Proclaimed Independence of Kosovo.

By doing so, as he said in a video address from Washington, they contributed to Pljevlja joining the Municipality of Zeta in correcting "the darkest historical injustice, which is the recognition of the so-called state of Kosovo."

Kneževič also said that with this act they showed that entering history does not begin with grand speeches or grand stories, but with clear activities, consistency, and the fight for ideological principles that they have not given up on.

"I would especially like to thank the Democratic People's Party councilors' club that initiated this decision and our President of the Municipal Committee and MP in the Parliament of Montenegro Vladislav Bojović, who insisted all the time that this decision be on the agenda and voted on. Thus, they once again showed that the Democratic People's Party has strong and unwavering people who are ready to testify with their actions to the policy that is followed by a large number of citizens," said Knežević.

He announced that he would very soon come up with the name of the new municipality that would "follow in the footsteps of Zeta and Pljevlja."

"Nothing is impossible if you firmly and strongly believe in it, and today in Washington we are starting a diplomatic campaign and offensive, called 'Let's Make Montenegro Great Again', because who else will do it, if not the Democratic People's Party," said Knežević.
