The Ministry of European Affairs published a new issue of the Eurokaz magazine

The Ministry of European Affairs has published the eighteenth issue of the Eurokaz magazine.

"Within several sections, Eurokaz presents current events from the negotiation process, the results of reforms implemented by Montenegro in the accession process, and successful examples of the use of EU funds. Representatives of the Government of Montenegro, the EU, journalists from Montenegrin print and electronic media, as well as representatives of local governments, the business sector, and non-governmental organizations write and speak for Eurokaz," the MEP announced.

The new issue of the magazine features an author's text by Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović, as well as an interview with the Irish Ambassador Kevin Kolgan.

"In this issue, we bring articles about the Reform Agenda of Montenegro for the period 2024–2027, the drafting of the Treaty on the Accession of Montenegro to the EU, as well as the story of the benefits that Chapters 1 and 2, which relate to the free movement of goods and workers, bring to citizens and the economy. We also talk about Montenegro's preparation for the European Union's Cohesion Policy and the building of institutions that can convert European funds into concrete development projects and measurable results for citizens," adds the MEP.

There is also the story of the proposal for the Natura 2000 ecological network, which was adopted by the Government, and which represents "one of the key obligations in the negotiations" with the EU under Chapter 27.

"At Eurokaz, we also present the project 'Equal in the process, equal in the future', which was implemented by the Union of the Blind of Montenegro, with the financial support of the Ministry of European Affairs, with the aim of bringing people with disabilities, especially visually impaired people, closer to the process of Montenegro's accession to the European Union and their rights within the framework of European policies of inclusion and equality," states the MEP.

The magazine also presented the project "Skadar Lake Basin - Transboundary Biosphere Reserve", which, as announced, is the result of successful cross-border cooperation between Montenegro and Albania.

"We also bring you a story about the celebration of Europe Day, which was implemented in seven cities by the Ministry of European Affairs, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro through the EU4ME project, together with municipalities, schools and cultural institutions," the statement reads.

The magazine is published every six months and is available on the websites and networks of the Ministry of European Affairs and eu.me.
