Former President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović congratulated the Montenegrin cadet women's handball team on winning the silver medal at the World Championship in Romania.
"Sincere congratulations to the cadets of the Montenegrin national handball team, coach Miloš Perović and the Handball Federation of Montenegro led by Petar Kapisod, on winning the silver medal at the World Handball Championship. A success worthy of national pride," said the honorary president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in a post on Iks.
He especially praised the handball players' attitude towards the national jersey and their country.
"I am particularly pleased that the new generation is worthily inheriting the glory of Montenegrin women's handball, and above all, sincere devotion to the national jersey and their country," said Đukanović.
