Vujović to NSD: Make peace with the Constitution, the EU and NATO, anti-fascism, the civil state and the Montenegrin nation

One of the leaders of the European Union, Ivan Vujović, called on the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) to come to terms with, among other things, the Constitution of Montenegro, the civic concept of the state, the EU and NATO, anti-fascism, and the fact that Montenegrins are not an invented nation.

Reacting to the news that the NSD is writing a declaration on reconciliation for a European Montenegro, he told the party that the fact that they have, in Vujović's opinion, opposed the strategic civilizational directions of state policy all along does not recommend them to carry the banner or lead in anything.

"We encourage you, i.e. Andrija Mandić, to come to terms with: the Constitution of Montenegro; a state that is not a collection of ethnic-national groups, but one in which the citizen is sovereign and that being, say, a Montenegrin or a Serb does not give him any special rights; the EU and NATO, but in essence, not in words; anti-fascism, which implies a break with the defeated criminal ideology that you serve us as a model, because it has nothing to do with the people but with the primordial evil that it carries within itself; the fact that the fact that you have always opposed the strategic civilizational directions of state policy does not in any way recommend you to be a standard-bearer or leader in anything; the fact that Montenegrins are not invented, and that Bosniaks, Albanians, Muslims, Croats and everyone else are their own people...", Vujović stated in a post on Iks.

One of the leaders of the European Union said that it is not far from the fact that there are political innocents in Montenegro, but that some have been "reconciled" with the aforementioned for three and a half decades.

"I don't know how to reconcile with our own politics and values, what that would look like. It doesn't give us any privilege for the future, because citizens want concrete life answers for what is today and what is to come. However, we are not exactly inclined to be blind people who will be 'thirsty across the water' to be translated. Therefore, instead of 'reconciliation', it is much more appropriate to say awareness and enlightenment," he concluded.
