If Budva Municipal Assembly President Petar Odžić were principled and believed in what he said, he would certainly not be in a coalition with those parties and individuals who unhesitatingly glorify Ratko Mladić, said Armen Šehović, a member of the Europe Now Movement (PES) in the Parliament of Montenegro.
When it comes to the chair, adds Šehović, Odžić and the European Union do not mind glorifying Mladić, while they would like to give others lessons.
"The European Union and Odžić, apart from voting for the mayor of Budva to be someone who protested against the Srebrenica resolution, have also decided to remain vociferously silent about the glorification of Ratko Mladić coming from Budva officials," the PES MP said in a press release.
He called on Odžić to comment on the announcement by a member of the Board of Directors of the Budva Academy of Knowledge who, according to Šehović, openly celebrates a convicted war criminal.
"And announce whether he will reconsider the current coalition cooperation because of this or whether, together with his current coalition partners, he will retain the possibility of singing the songs of Baja Mali Knindza for the sake of his seat," concluded the PES MP.
