Deputy Šehović, just explain whether you will vote for Duke Mandić and "Mladić for a hero". And not to me, but to our Bosniak people, in Plav, Gusinje, Rožaje, Petnjica, Bijelo Polje and the rest of Montenegro as well as throughout the region. They expect it from you.
This was said by Petar Odžić, an official of the European Union and President of the Budva Municipal Assembly, reacting to the statement of the Europe Now Movement (PES) MP in the Parliament of Montenegro, Armen Šehović, that Odžić and the European Union, when it comes to seats, do not mind the glorification of Ratko Mladić among their coalition partners in Budva.
"I don't mind the Serbian people, Mr. Šehović, I showed that in Budva, on the contrary. I mind Ratko Mladić, because he is a convicted criminal against innocent Bosniak civilians. He mind every citizen who has elementary moral principles, including your party colleague. When they were determining who would be the one to respond to my statements, which, among other things, concerned morality, in PES they could have found someone a little more competent to speak on the aforementioned topic," Odžić stated.
Now, he adds, when it comes from the former president of the DPS Plav youth party, it really seems funny.
"On the one hand, while on the other, it's a seriously tragic coincidence. Or intentional. But I'm glad I contributed to at least hearing Šehović's position on something," said Odžić.
Bearing in mind that Šehović, according to Odžić, has already shown that he is no stranger to changing parties and ideologies, the president of the Budva Municipal Assembly said that he would not be surprised if Šehović runs on Andrija Mandić's team in the next elections.
"He deserved it, if nothing else, by defending a man who is a follower of an ideology that committed genocide against his compatriots. Maybe, if it were someone else, I would ask the question of how he will return to his native Plav after this and who he will have coffee with?! But I won't, let my colleague Šehović find out that answer the hard way," concluded Odžić.
