The policy of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD) is a policy of peace and stability and it will ensure that people in Montenegro live carefree, said the leader of the party and President of the Parliament, Andrija Mandić.
He said that last night he had the pleasure of holding a working meeting with the coordinators of the Nikšić Municipal Board of the NSD in the town near Trebjes.
"A positive atmosphere, new energy and full dedication to work in the field and direct conversations with citizens will be the key to all of our future success," Mandić said in a post on the social network Iks, MINA reports.
He said that the NSD's policy is a policy of peace and stability.
"It will ensure that people in Montenegro live carefree, which is especially important when we see the times we live in," said Mandić.
Mandić added that it guarantees economic development, new jobs, secure employment, as well as sustainable solutions to housing issues, especially for young people.
"Our results in the fields of energy, tourism, transport and spatial planning are a guarantee of this," said Mandić.
He said that he is certain that a party that has young people in its ranks, like Nikšić Mayor Marko Kovačević, has a certain, successful and European future.
Mandić added that the young cadres of the NSD are largely ready to fight for their people politically in European institutions and fully compete with their colleagues from European Union member states.
"Niksic has always been the driving force, both for our party and for the whole of Montenegro, and as I often like to say when visiting this city - everything starts in Niksic. A new Serbian answer for a new time! We are building a Montenegro of free, happy, rich and reconciled people!", said Mandic.
Mandić spoke last night in Nikšić at the ceremonial Academy held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the passing of Hadži Radovan Bećirović Trebješki, organized by the Public Institution "Njegoš" National Library Nikšić and the Institute for Serbian Culture Nikšić, under the patronage of the Municipality of Nikšić.
The President of the Assembly described Bećirović as the last great bard of "our epic poetic history".
"Emerging from the Vukov epic and Njegoš's 'Mountain Wreath', he tried throughout his life to heal the wounds in our national memory, which, almost throughout the entire twentieth century, under the influence of totalitarian ideological indoctrination, deepened in our national being and which, unfortunately, led to great divisions among the people," he stated.
According to the Assembly's statement, Mandić said that today it is our obligation to work on overcoming divisions, spiritual liberation and unification of the people, emphasizing that the future of Montenegro should be built on the foundations of fraternal harmony and reconciliation.
"Our goal is for the new Montenegro to build its future on sound foundations, of fraternal harmony and reconciliation. Harmony in which everyone has the right to cherish their identity, without being persecuted for it, as Radovan Bećirović once was," said the Speaker of the Parliament and leader of the NSD.
He assessed that we owe it to Bećirović and all our famous ancestors today to be wise, patient and calm, because only in this way, as he pointed out, can we lead Montenegro on the right path.
