At today's fifth extraordinary session of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Rožaje, decisions were adopted on the detailed urban plan for Center II I urban plot no. 1024
The Secretary of the Secretariat for Planning and Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection, Ešef Husić, clarified that this is the area of the former Gornji Ibar (GIR) and the location next to the gymnasium and the Vocational High School. An investor from Bosnia and Herzegovina is interested in the location of GIR, who plans to start production for the production of systems for tunnel linings, as well as a certain domestic investor for the opening of a gas station.
"With the implementation of these projects, we expect the opening of around 40 new jobs," Husić said.
According to the adopted plan, a modern sports hall will be built next to Rožaj secondary schools, which will be financed by the Government.
As part of committee questions, Faruk Agović (SDP) asked the President of the Municipality, Ejup Nurković, for information on the exact number of newly hired workers. He reminded that with the new systematization in August 2016, a significant number of employed people lost their jobs.
"I have information that after that there was a reception of new workers, which, in addition to resolving the status of the dismissed, is a new levy on the municipality, as the law warns against," said Agović, who also asked Nurković for information on the municipality's liabilities in the past year.
"Some information indicates that construction was carried out before the election, and that it was done without tender documentation, so it was not even recorded, that is, it was not included in the final account for last year. We want precise information about the obligations to contractors of more than five thousand euros," he said. Agovic.
