The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), after the dissolution of the coalition in Petnjica, will try to oust the Bosniak Party from power in Rožaje as well, claims the former president of the Petnjica SO, Adnan Muhović. The government in Rožaje consists of BS and Social Democrats. Muhović repeated that the ruling party is trying to collapse the party of Rafe Husović.
"DPS is fighting with all its might and has set itself the goal of overthrowing the Bosniak Party using a dangerous bottom-up system. Therefore, demolition by the municipal boards, and when the time comes at the state level. This is supported by the fact that he kicked BS out of power in Bijelo Polje, that in the election campaign he predicted the removal of the president of the local parliament in Petnjica, according to my knowledge, he is preparing a special scenario for the board in Rožaje," he said on Radio Rožaje.
Muhović was recently removed from the post of president of the Petnjica Municipal Council, by the votes of the DPS, the Social Democrats and two SDP councilors, because of statements that Njegoš is a genocidal poet and Montenegrins are a small nation.
After that, the Bosniak party broke off the coalition with the DPS and called for early elections in that city. Husović's party announced a lawsuit to the Administrative Court due to Muhović's dismissal.
In response to the statement that his statements disturb the multi-ethnic harmony in the country, Muhović said that the initiative for his removal was the denial of freedom of speech to the political representatives of the Bosniak people. He claims that the DPS suppressed many rights of Bosniaks and members of the Serbian people in Montenegro, including the right to free speech, and that he will lead the fight for their realization through the institutions of the system.
"Within the comments on Njegoš's work, I did not say anything more than what Njegoš himself said. "I put the interests of the people above my personal interests and stood by the members of my religion and nation without the intention of insulting others," said Muhović.
The head of the Petnjica BS committee believes that the termination of the DPS-BS coalition in Bijelo Polje and Petnjica will also affect the coalition at the state level because, in his opinion, the coalition agreement has not been fully respected, and he expects the political representatives from the ranks of their party to clearly set border to DPS. Commenting on Prime Minister Duško Marković's statement that Muhović is irresponsible to state interests, he said that this is a latent threat to the Prime Minister.
"If such a statement came from Mehmed Adrović, who is the president of the OO DPS in Petnjica, I would not be surprised, but for the prime minister to send such a latent threat to the Bosniak party as a whole, I was surprised, but it did not scare me. If he wants to talk about the responsible conduct of politics, let him start from his backyard and deal with the "Snimak" affairs, whose actors are Samir Agović, Mehmed Adrović and Erol Adrović, who are not from the Berane prosecutor's office, and who are also DPS personnel -a", he said.
