At the final Convention of the electoral list "SDP Bar for Change-Dr. Draginja Vuksanović" tonight Bar, Draginja Vuksanović congratulated the citizens on Independence Day, "and those who circled Yes 12 years ago, and those who didn't, but this is their country and they love her," adding that he does not send congratulations to those who ravaged Bar and the country.
"I don't want to congratulate Independence Day to those who falsely hide behind the Montenegrin flag, because they ravaged Bar and Montenegro. On May 27, we don't just have local elections, they are also elections for an honorable and free Montenegro, for the changes that started from of our joint good result in the presidential elections. We are bringing the spirit of change from Bar to the north of the country, in the interest of honorable and free citizens, with the aim of replacing the alienated elite that ravaged Bar and Montenegro," said Vuksanović.
She pointed out that the SDP wants a Montenegro based on solidarity and justice, "because only such a thing can be done in the EU and we have wanted it like that since the nineties of the last century".
Vuksanović also said that SDP does not want a country where young people leave, but where young people stay, to build a future for themselves and their families.
"On the other hand, their politics is the degree of their patriotism, and their greed is the degree of their shame. They put Montenegro in their pocket, and we will return it to the citizens. We want at least a European port city, not a city with cigarette and drug smuggling We want a Bar with elite tourism, and we promise to build such a Bar. To new victories together, for the honor and freedom of the city of Bar and Crma Gora, so that every Independence Day will be more beautiful and better for us," Vuksanović concluded at the convention where presented SDP candidates for councilors in SO Bar.
SDP President Ranko Krivokapić said that May 21 is the day when "we measure ourselves against our descendants and bow to our ancestors", noting that Montenegrin independence was conceived a millennium ago in Bar.
"This is not the Montenegro that Bar fought for in the nineties. We received a Western diagnosis that this is a captured country. We lost the country only when its sons turned against it. Where there is no freedom or law, there is no prosperity, now employment has become humiliation , you have to lose your dignity in order to get a job. Youth are taught to be submissive and broken, and does such a country have a future," Krivokapić said.
He thanked Bar supporters for staying in the SDP, "in their house", despite all the pressure.
"They destroyed the LSCG, they are trying to do the same to the SDP, but we are a tough nut, this here is the soul, dignity and image of Montenegro, and this cannot be broken. We were the government and it corrupts, the truth has been corrupted. They bowed down and collapsed, and now they show that lack of soul by persecuting their comrades of yesterday. We will free the country from domestic torment, just as we have from foreign ones. And our victory is for Montenegro, which knows no defeats," Krivokapić added.
The holder of the SDP bar list, Dragan Vojvodić, said that the SDP list in this city is a collection of honorable, free and incorruptible citizens, and that it represents Bar in a small way,
"We will do everything to bring about the necessary changes. Our committee list reflects what we have stood for since 1989, it is a combination of youth and experience. These 22 young people on the list know very well where they came from, because of our idea of honor, honesty and fear that they will be better for Bar and Montenegro. And that's why on May 27 in Bar, the choice is easy for all honest people - "the top ten", said Vojvodic.
