President of the Petnjik Committee of the Bosniak Party (BS) Adnan Muhović He was dismissed from the post of President of the Petnjica Municipal Assembly yesterday, and Erol Muratović from DPS was elected acting head of the local parliament.
Muhović was replaced by the votes of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), the Social Democrats and two councilors from the Social Democratic Party (SDP), while the Bosniak Party councilors left the hall before the vote. The BS announced that they will appeal to the Administrative Court due to the violation of the statutes and rules of procedure of the SO, and that Muhović will be reinstated.
Muhović accused DPS leaders Milo Đukanović, Duško Marković and SD leader Ivan Brajović of seeking his dismissal. Stating that he was performing his job professionally, he said that he did not want to follow the instructions of the DPS.
“I never listened to you and nodded. "I never wanted to do anything that was to the detriment of the citizens of Petnjica," he said.
The initiative to remove Muhović was initiated by 19 councilors at the beginning of February, due to statements that Njegoš is a genocidal writer and Montenegrins are a small nation.
Although the DPS from Petnjica said they were interested in preserving the coalition with BS, Muhović told them that they "don't know what will happen in the chaos".
"Your problems start today. From today you will see what BS is and how we know how to do it in our own way", he said, while the mayor of the municipality, Samir Agović, told Muhović that the government is removable and rejected accusations that he was working under the orders of the top of the DPS.
"Milo does not replace or appoint me. I was appointed here by citizens and councilors," Agović said.
BS member Hakija Muratović said that the story about Njegoš only serves as an excuse for DPS to remove Muhović. "They would betray Njegoš and Montenegro for the sake of personal interests, and they are betraying it, if you see anything."
Most councilors resented Muhović for his statements about Njegoš and the "Dacija" affair, while he accused the DPS leaders of buying councilors and pre-election asphalting. Muhović accused Agović of corruption and said that the aforementioned affair would not be the last.
"I'm not ashamed of anything I've done. I am a philanthropist by nature, even when you accuse me of misusing resources," Agović replied.
Muhović apologized for the statement that Montenegrins are a small nation, stating that he was only answering a journalist's question. He repeated that Njegoš's verses were problematic, telling the signatories of the initiative that they "stood in the boardroom
"Mountain Garland" and spat on Islam". He said that the attitude of the top of the Bosniak Party towards the leaders of the DPS has changed.
"It was not our place to deal with Him. You gave me Njegoš to read. I experienced that you are reading and quoting it a year later", Agović answered him.
Representatives of the SDP left the session after their request to discuss the dismissal of Agović along with Muhović was rejected. They asked councilors Eldar Tiganj and Adis Osmanović, who voted for Muhović's dismissal, to return their mandates.
Muratović on sick leave, but voted in the SO
Representatives of the Bosniak Party yesterday accused the head of the DPS committee club, Erol Muratović, of abusing his sick leave, because he attended yesterday's session.
"I call on the Labor Inspectorate to deal with this case," said BS councilor Ervin Duraković, stating that the DPS councilor thereby violated the Labor Law.
He commented that Muratović is "obviously capable of attending the session of the SO, but not of performing the work of a doctor". He clarified that Muratović is on sick leave due to a leg injury. According to his property record, he receives a total of 1.820 euros at the Bijelo Polje General Hospital and the Health Center in Petnjica. Duraković believes that the Education Inspectorate should also be involved in connection with the imprisonment of Muratović's wife. He claims that it was previously established that irregularities were noted during the employment of Semina Muratović.
