Although the members of the Petnjica DPS launched an initiative to remove him from the position of the president of the Municipal Assembly, the high-ranking official of the Bosniak Party, Adnan Muhović, expects that Milo Đukanović's party will not allow it in order not to threaten the government at the state level.
"However, I think that the DPS headquarters will prevent a unilateral move by the OO DPS because of our coalition relations at the state level," Muhović told "Vijesta".
His dismissal was requested by the majority of councilors - 15 from the DPS, 2 from the SD and 2 from the SDP - who believe that his public statements have contributed to raising tensions, jeopardizing multi-ethnicity and the appearance of intolerance. Muhović's last addresses to the public included insults to Petar II Petrović Njegoš and the Montenegrin people.
Before that, he will ask the president of the party, Rafeto Husović, to protect him from the intention of the DPS from Petnji because it was the Presidency of the BS that insisted that he form the government at the local level with them and not with the SDP and the SNP.
If he does not get the support of the DPS headquarters, the coalition will be dissolved, which, he claims, is also the desire of the Petnjica DPS.
"They first started from Bijelo Polje, where we witnessed the unilateral dissolution of the coalition and the replacement of BS by SD. Also, here, too, there has been talk for some time about breaking up, expelling BS from the coalition and creating a new ruling majority with SD. It is certainly a message that the DPS does not want us Bosniaks and a free Bosniak political story in Montenegro," said the BS official.
He claims that this is an insight into the DPS plan to overthrow his party, and that the ultimate goal is to overthrow it at the state level.
An extraordinary session of the SO should be scheduled after the secretary of the SO returns from vacation, which is expected at the beginning of next week at the latest.
