CDU leaders pay a monthly membership fee of 15 euros

Officials and members of the URA movement, the Movement for Change and the Democratic People's Party (DNP) do not have to pay membership fees, while the president and vice-presidents of the Montenegrin Democratic Union (CDU) must allocate 15 euros per month.

This is stated in the party reports published by the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. The Law on Financing Political Entities and Election Campaigns obliges parties to determine the amount of party membership fees.

In the report of the URA movement, it is stated that their members have no obligation to pay membership fees, while Nebojša Medojević's party states that after the formation of the party in 2006, it was decided not to pay membership fees.

While in Purko Ivančević's party, members of the presidency must pay 10 euros per month, other members pay membership fees according to their means.

In the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), officials at the state and local level allocate three percent of their salary, while members of the administrative committees, councils and boards of directors pay seven percent of their salary. Employed members of the party in the state and local administration are obliged to allocate one percent of their salary.
