Hearings of officials of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) from Petnjica serve to cover the eyes of the opposition and the international community, and such affairs are good for the careers of the participants, said Demos official Zoran Miljanić.
Members of the Executive Board of the DPS in Petnjica, including the mayor of the municipality, Samir Agović, were questioned in the Beran prosecutor's office on the occasion footage from the meeting where they planned to "share" the asphalt before the parliamentary elections.
Miljanić claims that statements from DPS officials are taken for the sake of order.
"Or there will be some minimal punishments that turn out not to be punishments at all. Everything is going as usual, I'm not optimistic, it's faking the process, to blind the eyes of the opposition and the international public," said Miljanić.
The Petnjica committee of the SDP stated that the public should be reminded of the irregularities that occurred in Petnjica on the last day before the elections, in which the leaders of the municipality participated, but that until now, unfortunately, there has been no final epilogue.
"It is obvious that, unfortunately, our municipality was not bypassed by the prosecutor's invitations to members of the DPS, and that in the "Snimak" affair from Petnjica we also have elements that point to political corruption, to the abuse of state and municipal resources, to the capture of municipal services by individuals who privatized the institution of the municipality and use it as a party branch", SDP stated.
Miljanić points out that this is how things unfolded in the "Snimak" affair and after the elections in Berane, where votes were allegedly bought.
"Everything like that has been pointless until now, none of those cases have had their legal end, not even those affairs in which the international community was involved," said Miljanić, stating that yes, even when there are final judgments, it means nothing for members of the DPS who were convicted.
"We have seen that the convicted return either to their old place or to a better place of work, it seems that such affairs can only be a plus in the career of the participants," Miljanić said.
The SDP from Petnjica said that considering that this year there are local elections in our municipality, failure to shed light on these actions may call into question the holding itself, as well as the validity of those elections.
According to "Vijesti" information, Agović, the head of the Petnjik club of DPS councilors Erol Muratović, the president of the Petnjik committee of DPS Mehmed Adrović and the vice president of the municipality Muslija Kalić were questioned in the Beran prosecutor's office. At the session of the IO DPS, they planned the asphalting of 2,5 kilometers of road, according to the needs of DPS supporters.
