The Cetinje committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists wished the leader of the Democratic Montenegro Aleksi Bečić happy upcoming holidays and recommended him to "stay away from bars or at least not to overdo it".
"The leader of Democratic Montenegro should start avoiding the cocktails of his own party. That conclusion is the only one that arises after the announcement by the Democrats about the gathering of supporters of that group in a pub in Cetinje. With due respect to Bečić's tendency to inform the entire public about his outings in pubs , we feel the need to open the door to the world of reality for him. Namely, given his claim that in the last parliamentary elections the opposition in Cetinje "knocked out" the Democratic Party of Socialists, we believe that it is advisable to inform the leader of the Democrats that our party independently won 49 percent of the valid votes votes, and with the other coalition partners from the state level more than 53 percent. In what way 43 percent - the sum of the votes that our fellow citizens gave to the opposition - is greater than our 49 or the coalition's 53, only Bečić and his friends from the bar know." it is stated in the press release of DPS Cetinje.
They add that if the votes and percentages of support for Cetinje women and Cetinje citizens from the last parliamentary elections were applied in the distribution of local mandates, DPS would have won an absolute majority on its own.
"That's how it was in 2013. That's how it will be in the 2017 elections. And Mr. Bečić, with all his pub enthusiasm, enthusiasm and imagination, can't really do much in that case. The absolute majority for DPS in our city is unquestionable. , except in the case of tavern analyses. We believe that it would be better for Mr. Bečić to end 2016 with realistic conclusions, but also to stop fantasizing in 2017," the announcement states.
