The oceans will evaporate, the tectonic plates will stop moving. In the wettest areas, reservoirs of hot salty water will be created, in which microbes will live for another billion years, and they will also disappear.
Experts want to find out what chemical traces of their existence might be left by microbes at the end of their life on Earth, so that such traces can be searched for on other planets.

In addition to the well-known "Apofis", the threat is represented by two more large asteroids, whose orbit, it seems, will have to be changed to avoid a collision, said the president of the Rocket and Space Corporation "Energija" Vitalij Lopota.
That's why a rocket carrier with a payload of about 70 tons is needed, which will take a space apparatus capable of changing the direction of its movement to the trajectory of the asteroid, Lopota said.
According to him, it is possible that a space freighter carrying atomic weapons will be used for these purposes.
